Vacancy
Project Manager
for Past Times Dementia Friendly Community
About Past Times
As a church, some years ago we recognised that we were able to offer support to people who are living with dementia, and their carers. We had space in our building and volunteers with a passion to help. And so Past Times began in October 21. Funding from various sources has allowed us to open three times a month and provide musical entertainment and other activities which improve the quality of life of our visitors. Here are quotes from two of our visitors living with dementia:
“I feel calm, I know those around me know why I am there so it lets me feel better. It’s an easy calm place and I can talk to those involved and not feel embarrassed.”
“Everything about Past Times brings benefit to my life. The Come-and-Try has given me a chance to try things I would never have done before.”
You can also get a flavour of Past Times by watching this video which was compiled in August 2025.

References will be taken up prior to the appointment of the successful candidate.
Should you wish to have an informal discussion about the post, please contact us by email in the first instance.
