for Past Times Dementia Friendly Community
About Past Times
As a church, some years ago we recognised that we were able to offer support to people who are living with dementia, and their carers. We had space in our building and volunteers with a passion to help. And so Past Times began in October 21. Funding from various sources has allowed us to open three times a month and provide musical entertainment and other activities which improve the quality of life of our visitors. With new funding we are now ready to reach more people and open more frequently.

Following receipt of funding from the Scottish Government Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, we now seek a committed individual, ideally with training and experience of dementia, who can care for our visitors, extend our services and manage our volunteers.
